چکیده
Nineteen sites with 198 oriented-core samples have been collected from the Upper Permian-Lower Triassic volcanic rocks of Vien Nam Formation at Quynh Nhai locality, Son La Province, northwestern Vietnam. The characteristic remanent magnetization components carried by magnetite and hematite were successfully isolated secondary reveal a mean paleomagnetic direction Ds = 48.3°, Is -10.0°, a95 8.0°, corresponding to virtual geomagnetic pole located l 35.7°N, f 217.4°E paleo-latitude study area situated 5.1°S during Permian time. Compared Late Permian-Early South China Block (SCB), data show that crustal elements NW Vietnam close to, but not unequivocally coherent part SCB, since Permian. Development parallel NW-SE striking Song Ma Chay orogenic belts did involve closure wide (> 500 km) ocean basins.

Clonal reconquest of antibiotic-susceptible Salmonella enterica serotype Typhi in Son La Province, Vietnam.
In the last three decades, high rates of resistance to common first-line antimicrobial agents have been reported in Salmonella enterica serotype Typhi (Typhi), the causative organism of typhoid fever (TF), in many regions of the world, especially in South East Asia. Analysis of Typhi strains isolated from outbreaks and sporadic cases of TF in Son La province, northwest Vietnam, in 2002 revealed...
متن کاملDengue Associated Acute Encephalitis Syndrome Cases in Son La Province, Vietnam in 2014.
Acute encephalitis syndrome (AES) is associated with high morbidity and mortality, and affects both children and adults. The main etiologic agent is Japanese encephalitis virus (JEV); however, there are also reports of Dengue virus (DENV) encephalitis. The objectives of this study were to determine the proportion of patients with encephalitis due to JEV during the 2014 outbreak in Son La Provin...

This issue of Palaeogeography Palaeoclimatology Palaeoecology is devoted to papers on the Permian– Triassic boundary crisis and Early Triassic biotic recovery. It is an outgrowth of the Symposium on Early Triassic Chronostratigraphy and Biotic Recovery that was held in Chaohu, China, on May 21st–23rd, 2005 under the auspices of IGCP Project 467 and attended by about 200 Earth scientists with a ...
متن کاملThe Permian–Triassic boundary in Antarctica
The Permian ended with the largest of known mass extinctions in the history of life. This signal event has been difficult to recognize in Antarctic non-marine rocks, because the boundary with the Triassic is defined by marine fossils at a stratotype section in China. Late Permian leaves (Glossopteris) and roots Vertebraria), and Early Triassic leaves (Dicroidium) and vertebrates (Lystrosaurus) ...

The Permian-Triassic boundary in the Himalayas is reviewed and discussed in the light of palaeontologic and stratigraphic data collected during the past two and a half decades from Kashmir, Spiti and Nepal. The deposition of the Kuling Shales and their equivalents in different parts of the Himalayas was followed by shallowing and regression of the sea. Sedimentation was interrupted at the t...
